Seth’s doctor’s appointment went well. We saw a different doctor again. That place has so many doctors, I don’t think we’ve seen any of them twice. They’re all competent creatures, though, and seem to genuinely care. We talked to the nurse, she kept my notes and gave them to a doctor and he came and talked to us. he was very upbeat and friendly. he emphasized that Seth is very healthy, and took more notes and kept mine. We have another appointment Monday with a social worker. We’re probably the only people in the entire parish to ask for a social worker to evaluate them. Most of the time, it’s someone outside the house calling OCS (which, by the way, is not who we’re dealing with) on them. Also, it’s usually with good reason. You’d like to to not imagine what people around here put their kids through. I just want Seth to be happy and find out why he’s suddenly not. If it’s mine or Gary’s fault, then we’ll just have to change. I don’t think it is but hey, you never know. The worst parents always seem to be completely oblivious to the fact.
Venue Docket never called me back. I think I’m blacklisted. Also, ITT is still calling me. I can’t start school until I have a job! Shit!
Also, today is my mother’s birthday. I didn’t have her number in my phone since it isn’t my phone at all. She would have been so angry. Luckily, my gramma had my back. She called around and got it. Whew.
Inventions :Sex Dolls - funny. I found this searching for a picture of “angry mom”. Go see what I mean by that. Also, “angry mom” was how I found the post photo. I thought it was funny. The post probably wasn’t what you thought it was, eh?

I have an interview Tuesday at 4. At H&R Block. Not exactly my idea of a perfect job, but it’s obviously only temporary if I get it. I don’t even remember applying. It’s way better than that one place I went to in the ghetto. That place was filthy and scary. AND if I get it and they train me, I pretty much have that going for me every year around this time. Hopefully I don’t need it after plans are acted out. You can never know with plans, though.
My favorite band has changed. That’s what you get, The Elected, for not putting out a third album soon enough for my huge musical appetite. Maybe this year. Maybe. My musical tastes make me feel like an island. I’m not sure if that’s good or bad, but I do miss sharing! Oh, how I do.

The interview at LASM went pretty well. I interviewed with two women, both who were nice and had a sense of humor. The worst thing ever, which seems to have only happened once to me, was to have an interview with a stuffy old man. I KNOW it’s awkward for me and it HAS to be awkward for them and in awkward situations, you have to have a sense of humor about it.
If I do get the job, I will be handling children in the Discovery Depot. It’s a little area for young children. I’d say between 3-8 years old. There’s a play area, a toddler area, and my favorite, an arts and crafts area with a bunch of bins of recycled stuff. Kids are allowed to make whatever they please with this stuff.
Also, I’d be giving guided tours a few days a week. That’s the one I’m still unsure about. I’m pretty sure the tours are for children, and some of the galleries can be a little boring for a five-year-old. I think I’ve got enough creativity to handle it well, though. I WILL interest a child in Russian Icons. I will…
As a bonus, I got free admission to the museum. Sadly, I haven’t been there in a while. I pretty much only looked at the Russian Icons and the Chagall etchings. They were both awesome.

I got a good interview. LASM called me back and I have an interview on Friday. It’s for the children’s exhibit and I really think I’m going to like it if I get it.
