Sick offo kciS

buried.jpgI’m so sick of being sick. So sick, in fact, that I OD’d on narcotic cough syrup last night and have spent my day in a big old loop. Or maybe I was trying to kill myself because someone accidentally called me… *gasp* Rebekkah. *GASP* Which, I understand, there are some similarities. It still makes me sick to my stomach.

There’s a waterski competition today in Zachary, and I’d really like to go but I have so much crap to be doing. Better crap, honestly. Like Elisha’s birthday party and Karaoke with Tammy. Not me singing karaoke. No, never. Laughing at people singing karaoke.

I had considered going to ‘the river’ today, but I would have puked all in the water and that’s just nasty. My pepperoni pizza lean pocket made me throw up earlier, so I can’t imagine what the not-so-delicious sunshine beaming down on my sick-as-shit body would do to me. That lean pocket was delicious! My stomach thought not.

Wow…

February 8th, 2008 by Tabatha

I haven’t done anything in the past few days.  It’s Friday and it still feels like it could be Monday. I’ve done things since last Friday, but not nearly enough to amount to a whole week.

Friday night, Gary and I met Nicole and Brooke at The Industry, which used to be The L Bar. I’m not too sure if it’s both L and The Industry now. I think that’s how it is. It’s a little confusing. Lots of margaritas, shots of X vodka, and some really gross Absinthe. Yuck, yuck, yuck! Afterwards, Gary and I went to Louie’s. I had coffee and he had potatoes and it took us over 2 hours to finish them. I won’t give too many details on exactly why, but it was good times anyway.

cimg7402.jpg    Saturday was the Spanish Town Mardi Gras Parade. It was surprisingly hot that  day. Almost uncomfortably hot because of the way i was dressed. We waited around for friends that never showed up  then watched the ridiculously long parade. It’s not that it wasn’t fun. It was. I was just really tired and hot. Oh and not to mention the guy sitting in a lawn chair in front of us yelling “HEY HEY HEY HEY” at every float that passed, the whole time they passed. Also, Seth wasn’t really into the parade because they weren’t throwing candy. He eventually just sat on the ground and waited until the end. The poor child sometimes makes me think he’ll never adjust to Louisiana. He hates spicy food, doesn’t understand Mardi Gras parades, crawfish boils are a mystery to him. The list could go on and on. Maybe he’ll catch on one day. Maybe he’ll be able to eat Tony’s without crying when he’s a little older. Maybe we’ll move away before he gets a chance to. One can only hope. ;)

The rest of the week is  honestly pretty much a blur. Last night was Badfish, but no one else was going so I stayed home, too. I’ve been dying to see them, but I don’t want to end up bored because there’s no one to talk to. I hate doing things alone. I’d usually rather just not do them. Tonight is The Bravery and Dax Riggs at The Varsity, but I probably won’t go to that, either. We’ll see.
