It is absolutely disgusting outside today. It’s rainy and thundery and just terrible. It started at around 5am. I know this because Seth came in the room, scared and wanting to sleep with us. He never really gets waken up by thunder. That’s how horribly loud and long the thunder was. I don’t know how I even got out of bed today. Even more surprising is how I got out of bed early. Probably has a lot to with the “nap” I took last night which led to waking up two hours later, turning the lights off, and going to bed. Some nap.

I have things to do. I need to go out to the post office to ship an ebay package. I have to pick Seth up from Gramma’s. I don’t even want to step outside. I’ll probably drown in the huge puddles around my car. whoever invented flip flops semi-saved my day. Semi, because my toes will be ten little snowmen, only less festive and without hats. Brr.

With my excitement about Sweeney Todd’s release tomorrow, I am reminded to mention that I recently saw a Johnny Depp movie that I didn’t like. Dead Man.  It certainly isn’t as bad as the David Lynch movies I tried to enjoy a few weeks ago, but it’s still so pointless, it makes me anxious. I did manage to sit through the entire movie, which is not true for most of the Lynch films. So I can at least give it that.
