What it takes to read

December 9th, 2007 by Tabatha

Today was a lazy morning. I woke up around 9am and stayed in bed until11:30am. I got out of bed once to make some cappucino (with whipped topping!) in my snowman mug and then crawl back into bed with Morrisson, StringBean and The Time Traveler’s Wife. I read 108 pages until I decided it was time to get up. I got that book from PaperBackSwap sometime last year. I haven’t been reading much in the past couple of years. I have books stacked up that I’ve acquired to read. Jon let me borrow One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, but I read only a couple of chapters into both of them before something came up. I’m thinking the best way to get time in for reading is in the morning instead of at night. By the time I drag myself into bed, all I can think of is sleep.

Now that I’m thinking about it, I think I’ll go check out PBS again and see if there are any books I’d like to read there.

—Time goes by—

I had two credits still, so I ordered Zen to Go and The 100 Simple Secrets of Happy People: What Scientists Have Learned and How You Can Use It .

I really enjoyed The Time Travelers Wife. I hope your enjoying it too :).
I wish I could stay in bed for an hour and read. That would be so nice.
